EABC - Bangkok Perspectives: GIZ Thailand Business Dialogue

On 20 November 2025, Ms. Charanya Nopnukulvised, Operations Director, attended the “Bangkok Perspectives: GIZ Thailand Business Dialogue” held at the Jim Thompson House.

The session, “Navigating Uncertainty: Global Cooperation and Economic Resilience in a Fragmented World” examined how Southeast Asia can respond to geopolitical shifts, supply chain disruptions, and climate-related pressures while sustaining long-term growth.

Key discussions underscored the need for stronger governance, enhanced education and R&D, and effective policy frameworks to boost productivity and resilience. Instruments such as free trade agreements were highlighted for their role in enhancing regional competitiveness and fostering sustainable, inclusive development.

EABC remains committed to strengthening EU partnerships and supporting deeper EU–Thailand political, economic, and trade engagement, particularly as both sides advance work toward the EU–Thailand FTA.
