
EABC – Meeting with MFA 2026
On 26 February 2026, representatives of the EABC – The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand, led by President Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, had the honour of meeting with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, under the leadership of H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Minister of Foreign Affairs.
The discussion reaffirmed Thailand’s commitment to policy continuity, economic stability, and a competitive investment climate, with both sides exchanging views on enhancing trade and investment standards and Thailand’s progress toward accession to the OECD.
During the meeting, EABC presented the key findings of its 2025 EU–Thailand FTA Survey, reflecting the collective voice of European companies on the ongoing Thailand–EU Free Trade Agreement negotiations. The survey highlights strong support for advancing the FTA to enhance market access, regulatory transparency, and investor confidence. EABC also emphasised the importance of regulatory reform and alignment with international standards to strengthen Thailand’s competitiveness.
EABC reaffirmed its readiness to support and promote sustainable investment, responsible business practices, innovation, research and development, and human capital development as essential pillars of Thailand’s digital and green transition.
EABC expresses its sincere appreciation to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the warm reception, reaffirming the strong and constructive partnership between Thailand and the European business community.
