หลังไทยจัดการเลือกตั้งทั่วไปเมื่อปี 2019 สหภาพยุโรป หรือ อียู ได้เดินหน้าขยายขอบเขตการมีส่วนร่วมกับไทยมากขึ้น ซึ่งรวมถึงการดำเนินการเจรจาข้อตกลงเขตการค้าเสรีระหว่างอียู-ไทยอย่างรอบด้านอีกครั้ง ซึ่งได้เริ่มต้นขึ้นเมื่อเดือนมีนาคม 2013 ก่อนจะถูกระงับไปในปี 2014 หลังเกิดการรัฐประหารในไทย ตั้งแต่ปี 2019 เป็นต้นมา อียูระบุว่า เปิดกว้างในการเจรจา ภายใต้เงื่อนไขบางประการ ขณะที่ ไทยเองก็มุ่งที่จะจัดทำเอกสารความเข้าใจร่วมกัน เพื่อใช้เป็นกรอบการเจรจาข้อตกลงการค้าเสรี หรือ FTA ร่วมกัน ซึ่งจะครอบคลุมการค้าสินค้า […]
