EABC - Anti-illicit Trade Sub-Task Force: Perspectives and Recommendations on Thailand’s Illicit Trade Situation and Policy Recommendations

The EABC Anti-Illicit Trade Sub-Task Force has released a new publication titled “Perspectives and Recommendations on Thailand’s Illicit Trade Situation and Policy Recommendations.” 

The report provides a comprehensive overview of the illicit trade landscape in Thailand, identifying key challenges and assessing the broader economic and regulatory impacts across major sectors, including tobacco, alcoholic beverages, pharmaceuticals and healthcare products, cosmetics, and agricultural inputs. 

It also highlights how addressing illicit trade is closely linked to regulatory credibility, which is essential for strengthening Thailand’s position as an attractive business hub and a leading destination for innovative and sustainable investment.
