EABC - Meeting with Mr. Punya Chupanit, Deputy Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport

On 23 February 2026, EABC – The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand Transport, Logistics, Rail and Road (TLRR) Working Group representatives led by TLRR Working Group Chair, Mr. Roderich Hoffmann had a meeting with Ministry of Transportation led by Deputy Permanent Secretary, Mr. Punya Chupanit.

The discussion focused on Thailand’s infrastructure development, rail standardisation, and the broader policy landscape shaping the sector. An update on the EU–Thailand FTA negotiations further highlighted opportunities to deepen collaboration in related areas.

The meeting also fostered an open and constructive dialogue on strengthening cooperation with the TLRR Working Group. Participants shared perspectives, exchanged best practices, and explored practical pathways to enhance information sharing and build long-term partnerships.
