Thailand Virtual Mission Trip 2021-Ministry of Transport on 6 October

On 6th October, EABC and EU-ASEAN Business Council held the fourth meeting as part of business mission to Thailand with Mr. Saksayam Chidchob, Minister of Transport and related departments in the Ministry of Transport.

The discussion included COVID-19 travel bubbles, MoT’s infrastructure plans, improving logistics efficiency, including Thailand’s ranking in the Global Logistics Performance Index, Development in the EU-ASEAN Comprehensive Air Transport Agreement and Eco-Friendly Transport.

During the meeting, Mr. Georg Michael Wolff, Vice President and Chair of Rail & Road Infrastructure working group has proposed to set up a Thai – European working group with the MOT for continuous engagement and his excellency has agreed, which bring a good news to the European business community.
