EABC Intellectual Property Rights Working Group Meeting #6

On 13th July 2023 – IPR Working Group held its sixth meeting of the year via Zoom.

The meeting facilitated constructive discussions on the summary of the consultation meeting with EU Delegation, including the topics of future discussions with judges and incorporation with agriculture sector for IPR issues, report of the results of actions to suspend the sales of infringing goods by DIP and ways to further cooperation with DIP for regular IPR development.

The WG meeting followed by the election of the new Working Group Chair.

EABC would like to take a moment to acknowledge the invaluable support and leadership provided by Ms. Ploynapa Julagasigorn, former WG Chair. The IPR WG has experienced remarkable growth and development. Her dedication and expertise have been instrumental in our achievements thus far, and we are immensely grateful for her contributions.

In this regard, we would like to congratulate the new chair of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Working Group, Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, Partner at SCL Nishimura & Asahi. She will continue to develop and support the IPR Working Group for ongoing activities.
