EABC - Meeting with the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA)

On 6 October 2026, EABC met with Mr. Mark Kent, Chief Executive of the Scotch Whisky Association (SWA), and Mr. Ian McKendrick, Executive Director of the Asia Pacific International Spirits and Wines Alliance (APISWA) at the EABC office.

The discussion provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on developments affecting the alcoholic beverages sector, share insights on the evolving policy landscape in Thailand, and explore opportunities for closer collaboration. The exchange also contributed to EABC’s understanding of industry perspectives as we continue to support a comprehensive approach to EU–Thailand trade and economic relations.
