The Trade and Development Regional Forum 2016

On 21 September EABC participated in the Trade and Development Regional Forum 2016 at Dusit Thani Hotel, organized by the international institute for Trade and Development. EABC Executive Director Mr. Peter Bjork and Policy Manager Mr. Chaldabhum Temkasem  together with Dr. Thavirap  Thantivongse, Chair EABC Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Working Group represented EABC.

                                                                                                  

The Opening statement was made by H.E. Teerakiat Jareonsettasin, Deputy Minister of Education, Thailand. The objectives of the Forum are to identify actions, policies and measures that must be implemented to stimulate trade and investment in Asia, to encourage collaboration and to raise awareness on the complexity of the global economic agenda and to act in order to meet the SDGs by 2030.
