Workshop on the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement “Benefiting from the Trade Facilitation Agreement: Unlocking Trade Opportunities within ASEAN

On 26-27 September 2016, International Institute for Trade and Development (ITD) and Permanent Mission of Thailand to the World Trade Organization held a workshop on WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement at Anantara Siam Hotel. EABC was represented at the workshop by EABC President, Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel and Policy Manager, Mr. Chaladbhum Temkasem.  The workshop highlighted the importance of Trade Facilitation Agreement for the business community. The workshop also encouraged to have representatives from Chambers of Commerce participating not only at the technical working group level but also at the policy level with the government to improve the implementation of Trade Facilitation.
