EABC – Meeting with the Ministry of Finance (MOF)
On 4 December 2025, EABC representatives led by President, Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, board members, and members of the Insurance Working Group met with the Ministry of Finance (MOF), led by Vice Minister for Finance, Dr. Benjarong Suwankiri, to discuss key economic priorities and reaffirm our commitment to working together in support of Thailand’s long-term development.
The discussion focused on the Ministry’s current policy priorities, including Thailand’s ambition to position itself as a regional financial hub, as well as the importance of an upskilled workforce—ensuring that training aligns with evolving market needs and supports the development of future-ready talent.
The meeting also explored opportunities for collaboration on the EU–Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations. Both parties shared the goal of advancing trade, attracting investment, enhancing innovation, and strengthening economic growth through closer cooperation.
Another important topic of discussion was the need for sustainable healthcare financing, recognised as a critical component of both economic resilience and a healthier, more productive society.
