International Conference on Thai Canal
On 11 September 2017, Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel, President of EABC European Chamber of Commerce, delivered messages of congratulations at the opening of the International Conference on Technology for Sustainable Path to Thailand’s Future Canal. The event was supported by the EABC and it attracted international delegates from embassies as well as reporters. Mr. Georg Wolff, Board Member of EABC, participated as a Chairman of the 1st panel session: Major Canals in the World. Other EABC included Mr. Chaladbhum Temkasem, Executive Director, Mr. John Quarmby, Chairman of Transport and Logistics Working Group, Mr. Philip Coates, Board Member of EABC, Mr. Joseph Hong, Automotive Working Group’s Member / Silver Partner / Robert Bosch Limited, Dr. Ulrich Eder, EABC Member/Pugnatorius Ltd. and Ms. Pasiree Thongsak, EABC Membership and Communications Manager.
During the coffee break, President Rolf-Dieter was asked to give an interview for a business newspaper. President commented Thai Canal shares many aspects of Kiel Canal which will bring additional revenue to the Royal Thai Government. The President also wishes the conference a great success.
