EABC - 2026 Annual Meeting of the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC)

On 30 September 2026, EABC’s representatives, led by Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised, Operations Director, and Pitchapha Suwanalert, Policy Manager, participated in the 2026 Annual Meeting of the Office of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), under the theme “Plan 14: Thailand’s Next Agenda”.

The meeting brought together representatives from government, the private sector, academia and other stakeholders to exchange views on the draft 14th National Economic and Social Development Plan (2027–2031) and Thailand’s priorities for the years ahead.

The discussions highlighted five key areas of development: transforming the economic structure, reforming public administration, upgrading human capital, sustaining natural resources and the environment, and advancing technology, research and innovation. EABC was pleased to contribute to this important dialogue and will continue to bring the perspectives of the European business community to Thailand’s policy discussions.

EABC encourages continued collaboration and open dialogue among government, business and other stakeholders to turn these priorities into practical action, strengthen Thailand’s competitiveness, and build sustainable growth for the future.
