On 6 July 2016, the European Association for Business and Commerce hosted a launch seminar of its successful series – European Business Position Paper. This seminar aimed to strengthening Thai-European economic relations towards a more competitive Thai economy in 2018. The event was presided by H.E. Mr. Sontirat Sontijirawong, Minister of Commerce and H.E. Mr Pirkka Tapiola, Ambassador.  Mr. Christian Weidmann, Vice President of EABC appreciated participants from broad number of industrial sectors as well as participants from the Royal Thai Government.
