EABC – Trademarks and Industrial Designs: Strategies for Businesses and SMEs in the Global Marketplace Seminar
On 3 August 2026, EABC representatives, led by Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, Mrs. Pavinee Bunyamissara, Ms. Saowanee Leewijitsin, and Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised attended the seminar “Trademarks and Industrial Designs: Strategies for Businesses and SMEs in the Global Marketplace” hosted by the Department of Intellectual Property and SCOPE IPR at Conrad Bangkok.
The seminar explored practical strategies for leveraging trademarks and industrial designs to protect products, strengthen brand value, and enhance business competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. It also provided a valuable platform for participants to exchange perspectives on the key intellectual property challenges and opportunities facing Thailand’s business community.
Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, a chair of EABC IPR Working Group also joined the speaker panel for the session “From Challenges to Growth: The Role of IP in Business Development.” She highlighted how intellectual property is not merely a legal safeguard but a strategic business asset that can drive business growth, strengthen brand value, attract investment, support franchise expansion, generate licensing opportunities, and enhance a company’s long-term competitiveness. She also shared practical case studies demonstrating the importance of registering trademarks early, particularly in first-to-file jurisdictions, to avoid costly disputes and protect business value.
EABC appreciates the opportunity to participate in this insightful discussion and looks forward to continued collaboration with stakeholders to promote a robust intellectual property framework that supports innovation, investment, and sustainable business growth in Thailand.
