Meeting with OECD

On 16th January 2024, EABC representatives led by Mr. Bob Fox, Board Member and a Chair of Digital Economy/ICT Working Group, Mr. Anthony Hoglund, Board Member and a Chair of Tourism Working Group, Mr. Matthew Grose, a Chair of Insurance Working Group and Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised, Operations Director had a meeting with the OECD on the corporate governance of state-owned enterprises at EABC office. The meeting was a part of OECD final policy mission in Bangkok, which is part of Phase II of the OECD-Thailand Country Programme.

Building on our productive meeting in June last year, EABC contributed valuable insights into recent improvements and challenges in the Thai business environment and state-enterprise sector.

The exchange of ideas has proven highly beneficial for the ongoing development and enhancement of corporate governance and performance standards for state-owned enterprises in Thailand.

We are looking forward to continuing the collaboration between EABC and OECD in the future.
