UNDP Thailand” The Launch Event of a Study on “the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the Context of Business and Human Rights”.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Thailand is pleased to invite you to the Launch Event of a Study on “the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the Context of Business and Human Rights”.
The launch event is part of UNDP’s study on the Protection of Human Rights Defenders in the Context of Business and Human Rights. UNDP has undertaken this important study at the request of the Ministry of Justice to support the implementation of the National Action Plan (NAP) on Business and Human Rights, and the promotion of the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs) in Thailand.
The objectives of the event are to present the pressing issues faced by human rights defenders in Thailand in the context of business and human rights, and recommendations for their protection. Furthermore, the study will be tabled at the NAP National Committee for consideration and further action to enhance the protection of human rights defenders.
