Date: Tuesday 3 June 2014 The European ASEAN Business Centre cordially invites you to Joint Chambers Luncheon on Economic Outlook 2015. According to the International Monetary Fund (IMF), global activity strengthened during the second half of 2013, as anticipated in the October 2013 World Economic Outlook (WEO). In addition to this trend, activity is expected to improve further in 2014–2015, largely on account of recovery in the advanced economies. While growth in the European Union and the United States is expected to strengthen this year: What impact and opportunities will be brought about to ASEAN as a whole and Thailand in particular from now toward 2015, in which the ASEAN Economic Community will be established? What impact does the current domestic political impasse have on the economic outlook What are risks that need to be managed along the way?
