EABC – World Bank Roundtable Discussion on the Impact of Recent Trade Policy Development

On 3 September 2025, EABC -The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand representatives led by President and Chair of the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Working Group, Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, Board member and Chair of the Energy Working Group, Mr. Marty Sinthavanarong, and Policy Manager, Ms. Pitchapha Suwannalert participated in the World Bank Roundtable Discussion on the Impact of Recent Trade Policy Development at the World Bank Office in Bangkok.

This roundtable discussion focuses on how Thailand is adapting to the uncertainties of international trade. The discussion explored the impact of recent trade policy changes, strategies to mitigate risks, and the sharing of best practices among participants. EABC emphasised the importance of the EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) as a key driver to strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness and resilience in an evolving global trade landscape.
