EABC Luncheon Policy Session 2025: Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme; Policy Direction, and Way Forward for Sustainable Financing and Patient Access

On 25 June 2025, EABC President and Chair of the Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Working Group, Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, opened the EABC Luncheon Policy Session 2025 on “Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme: Policy Direction and Way Forward for Sustainable Financing and Patient Access” at Eastin Grand Hotel Phayathai.

The session featured a keynote address by Mr. Sittichai Ngamkiatkajorn, Director of the Medical Benefits Division, Comptroller General’s Department (CGD), and brought together stakeholders to discuss the future of healthcare financing under the CSMBS.

Amid Thailand’s ageing population and the rising burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), participants emphasised the need for sustainable and inclusive solutions to safeguard access to care. The dialogue highlighted public–private collaboration as a key factor in developing a resilient and financially responsible healthcare system.
