EABC Food and Beverages Working Group Meeting #7
On 26th July 2023 – EABC Food and Beverages WG held its seventh meeting of 2023 at EABC office and via MS Teams.
The meeting fostered constructive discussions on developments in the food, agriculture and beverages industries, including:
- Updates on public hearing and comments from stakeholders regarding EPR regulations from the Pollution Control Department, along with discussion on further actions for the recent draft version;
- Progress updates on the Working Group’s actions to the Ministry of Public Health regarding the Draft Control of the Marketing of Food and Beverages that Affect Children’s Health Act;
- Updates on the development of the access of agriculture innovation;
- The meeting on 18th July between the head of the Thai FTA negotiation team and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Trade regarding the framework of the upcoming first-round FTA negotiation.
