EABC / EU-ABC Mission Trip - Courtesy visit to H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul at Government House.

On 16 July 2026, as part of the EABC / EU-ABC Mission Trip to Thailand 2026, EABC and the EU-ABC delegation paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Anutin Charnvirakul at Government House.

The discussion reaffirmed the strong economic partnership between Thailand and Europe and focused on Thailand’s priorities to enhance competitiveness through future-ready infrastructure, digital transformation, clean energy, improved logistics, regulatory reform, and OECD accession.

Both sides also exchanged views on the progress of the EU-Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations, recognising the importance of maintaining momentum towards a high-quality agreement that will strengthen trade, investment, and long-term economic cooperation. The European business community reaffirmed its confidence in Thailand as a key investment destination and its continued support for Thailand’s economic transformation, the successful conclusion of the Thailand-EU FTA, and the country’s OECD accession.
