EABC: Department of Intellectual Property Meeting on 6th September 2022.

On 6th September 2022 – Department of Intellectual Property held a meeting on ‘Stakeholders Consultation on the Protection and Enforcement of IPRs in Thailand’ via Zoom. Mr. Vuttikrai Lewiraphan, Director General of DIP presided the opening remarks and welcomed all the participants in the meeting.

EABC led by Mr. Franck Fougere, Chair of IPR Working Group, Ms. Khemika Ratanakul, Vice Chair of IPR Working Group, and Mr. Bob Fox, EABC Board Member and Chair of Digital Economy/ICT Working Group had the opportunity to share perspectives on various topics; Patent Act, Copyright Act, Online enforcement, MoU on Online Advertising and Intellectual Property Right, Ransomware and Trademark Act. The meeting was also joined by representatives from EU Delegation to Thailand, US Embassy, USPTO, EU-ABC, and AMCHAM.
