Calling for Industry Consultation on EU Free Trade Agreement with Thailand:

On 28 February 2013 the European Commission received the endorsement from the Council to open negotiations for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) with Thailand. On 6 March 2013 European Commission President, José Manuel Barroso, and the Thai Prime Minister, Yingluck Shinawatra, launched negotiations for an FTA between the European Union and Thailand. EABC will provide one consolidated European industry reply to the questionnaire.  
Two questionnaires have been prepared in order to provide the Commission with information to assist it in establishing priorities and taking decisions throughout the negotiating process. Your reply to these questionnaires is important in this process and we thank you in advance for your contribution.
