The EABC participated in the ERASMUS+ Scholarship 2015 Awarding Ceremony organised by the Delegation of European Union to Thailand, held on Thursday, the 16th of July 2015 at the Sofitel So Hotel Bangkok.

The event began with welcoming remarks from Ambassador Jesus Miguel Sanz, Head of the EU Delegation to Thailand followed by a very inspirational speech by Mrs Anne-Marie Machet; a representative of the EABC’s board of directors. The ceremony was well received, with more than 150 people in attendance, comprising of the Erasmus+ scholarship recipients, Erasmus Mundus alumni, EU Member State representatives, as well as representatives from the European business community in Thailand, including the EABC’s board members.

About the ERASMUS+: Every year; the EU Delegation organizes a reception to congratulate the Thai Erasmus+ (formerly known as Erasmus Mundus) awardees and to offer them a networking opportunity with the Erasmus Mundus alumni, EU Member States representatives and some representatives from European business. The Erasmus+ programme enables and funds a selected group of Thai students to spend 1-2 years in Europe following their studies in European Universities. The awardees and alumni are talented, promising young Thais, with exposure to various European countries each, about to begin their professional careers.
