EABC successfully hosted the Thailand’s Economic Outlook 2026: Afternoon Tea Briefing with the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC) on 6 August 2026 at The Athenee Hotel, Bangkok.

We were honoured to welcome Dr. Supavud Saicheua, Chairman of the National Economic and Social Development Council (NESDC), who shared valuable insights into Thailand’s economic outlook and the policy priorities shaping the country’s long-term development. The discussion highlighted the importance of government reform, fiscal sustainability, strategic investment in energy and digital infrastructure, and strengthening Thailand’s competitiveness through education, healthcare, and workforce development.

We were also honoured by the presence of H.E. Mrs. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to the Kingdom of Thailand, together with members of the diplomatic corps, EABC members, and distinguished guests, whose participation contributed to a lively and engaging discussion.
