EABC - Insurance Working Group First Meeting

On 6 March 2026, EABC – The European Chamber of Commerce Thailand Insurance Working Group, led by Working Group Chair,  Mr. Matthew Grose, held its first meeting of the year at ERGO Office.

The meeting covered EABC’s upcoming activities, ongoing advocacy efforts, and the progress of the EU–Thailand Free Trade Agreement (FTA) negotiations, highlighting the priorities and policy landscape that will define the year ahead.

Participants also reflected on Thailand’s post-election political environment and the current economic outlook, identifying emerging trends and outlining strategic directions for the Working Groups moving forward. A key part of the discussion focused on regulatory developments in the insurance sector, where members shared perspectives on upcoming challenges, potential policy shifts, and recommendations for navigating the evolving regulatory landscape.
