EABC: IPR working group meeting with the DIP

On 24th March 2023 – Department of Intellectual Property (DIP) held a Consultation meeting on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights (IPRs) in Thailand via Zoom. Mr. Vuttikrai Lewiraphan, Director General of DIP presided the opening remarks and welcomed all the participants in the meeting.

EABC IPR Working Group members had the opportunity to share their thoughts and perspectives on various topics; Patent Act, Copyright Act, GI Act, Customs issue, MOU issue, Data Protection, and IP Enforcement. The meeting was also joined by representatives from EU Delegation to Thailand, US Embassy, USABC and AMCHAM.

We are looking forward to the next consultation meeting and committed to work closely with DIP to enhance the IPR sector in Thailand.
