EABC - Destruction Ceremony of Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Goods 2026 hosted by the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP)

On 10 September 2026, EABC representatives, led by Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, Ms. Saowanee Leewijitsin, Ms. Khemika Ratanakul, Ms. Ratthasapa Submuang and Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised, joined the “Destruction Ceremony of Intellectual Property Rights Infringing Goods 2026”, hosted by the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP).

The ceremony reaffirmed the Royal Thai Government’s commitment to enforcing intellectual property laws and combating infringement. It also reflected Thailand’s commitment to its international obligations, consumer protection, and strengthening confidence among domestic and international investors.

More than 2 million seized items, valued at over THB 2 billion, were destroyed as part of the final stage of the law enforcement process, helping prevent infringing goods from re-entering the market and breaking the cycle of intellectual property infringement.

EABC extends its appreciation to the Department of Intellectual Property, Ministry of Commerce, public-sector stakeholders, and rights holders for their continued efforts to combat intellectual property infringement and strengthen IP protection in Thailand.
