Virtual roundtable on Industry and Intermediary cooperation against online IPR infringements in Thailand

On Friday 12^th June 2020, Mr.Franck Fougere, Chairperson of Intellectual Property Rights and Mr. Bob Fox, Chairperson of Digital Economy/ICT Working Group has presented and shared sharing information on the issues and challenges faced by IPR owners in Thailand in terms of online infringements in the “Virtual roundtable on Industry and Intermediary cooperation against online IPR infringements in Thailand” organized by the EU IP KEY Southeast Asia.The roundtable was a discussion among representative from Department of Intellectual property rights (DIP), EU Delegation, online platform and IPR owners in Thailand.

The EABC will continue to working closely with the DIP and relevant stakeholder in support of vision and policy priorities in topics of Intellectual Property Rights as well as supports the initiative of intermediary service providers (ISPs)  to enter into MoUs that would allow for higher co-operation with IP enforcement authorities and IPR owners.
