The United Nations Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum 2023

On 6th June 2023 – Ms. Warangkana Hicks, EABC Policy Manager participated in the United Nations Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum 2023 at the UN Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Forum will be held on 6-9 June 2023, co-organized by the International Labour Organization (ILO), International Organization for Migration (IOM), Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UN Women), United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP), and the UN Working Group on Business and Human Rights (UNWG).

Ms. Warangkana, representing EABC, engaged in discussions on various perspectives regarding the development of human rights-based policies and corporate sustainability due diligence during the session, “Responsible Business Roundtable: An interactive discussion on the challenges faced by companies” along with other representatives from various organisations such as Eurocham Cambodia and GIZ.

EABC is committed to continue being the voice of European business in Thailand and advocating policy facilitation for our members.
