Seminar on the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM)

On 28th September 2023 – EABC led by Dr. Charanya Nopnukulvised, Ph.D., Operations Director and Ms. Warangkana Hicks, Policy Manager attended Seminar on the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and decarbonisation opportunities in Thailand at Anantara Siam Bangkok.

The seminar organised by EU Delegation to Thailand, in partnership with the Department of Trade Negotiations (DTN), Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO), and Federation of Thai Industries Climate Change Institute (FTI CCI) aimed to raise awareness and build better understanding of Thai public and private sector about the EU CBAM Regulation adopted on 10 May 2023 and the implementing act(s) focusing on obligations during the transitional period.
