CONSULATION ON DRAFT PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION LAW 25 JANUARY
An updated draft of the proposed Personal Data Protection law was released by the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society on 22 January. On the afternoon of 25 January a consultation was conducted by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Digital Economy & Society (and her staff) for a small group of the foreign business community. Mr Bob Fox, the EABC Digital Economy / ICT Working Group chair (also chair of the JFCCT EABC Digital Economy / ICT Committee) played a contributing role, along with representatives of Amcham, the Business Software Alliance and a number of tech companies.
