Ministry of Commerce to report of their 6-month achievement on 20 April 2015.

The EABC was invited to join the press conference organized by Thailand’s Ministry of Commerce to report of their 6-month achievement on 20 April 2015.

The Minister of Commerce, General Chatchai Sarikulya, chaired the press conference. The participants were from foreign representatives, Embassies and Chambers of Commerce, and press. Four main achievements were reported, included management of major agricultural products (rice in particular), monitoring costs of living for poor, export promotion, and driving Thailand toward AEC. Some of sub-achievements matched with the EABC WG recommendations e.g., improvement of Thailand’s competitiveness through business facilitation: E-filing, e-commerce, distribution center/hub, review and amendments of Copy Right Act.
