Meeting with Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour

On  Wednesday 7 September 2016 a EABC delegation led by our President Mr. Rolf-Dieter Daniel and our Chair of  the CSI Working Group Mr. Nicholas Bellamy and members from the Automotive Working Group and EABC Executives met with Mr. Thawatchai Leaksumrit, Senior Expert on Foreign Workers System Management and his Team at the Department of Employment, Ministry of Labour.

The discussion included Introduction of EABC and our latest activities, 90-day report,  availability of skilled labor and vocational workers and updates on free flow of labour in ASEAN – in particular on qualifications. EABC suggested to form a Working Group to continue the process to improve the ease of doing business and for foreign investors to choose Thailand for their investments.
