Intellectual Property Fair 2023
On 18th August 2023 – EABC led by Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, Chair of IPR Working Group; Ms. Warangkana Hicks, EABC Policy Manager; and Ms. Saowanee Leewijitsin, our esteemed member; attended Intellectual Property Fair 2023 (IP Fair 2023) at Samyan Mitrtown.
The opening remark was given by Mr. Vuttikrai Leewiraphan, Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property, the Ministry of Commerce.
The IP Fair 2023 aims to promote the creation and commercialization of IP, enhance IP protection and registration efficiency, and create added value for Geographical Indication (GI) products. The event consisted of an IP Seminar, providing a platform for sharing experiences on value creation from creative innovations, an IP Showcase, presenting Thai IP achievements from various leading companies, an IP Champion Zone, highlighting IP achievements in 2023, and an Art Success & Gen Z Zone, featuring a collection of art and creative works from artists and designers. The IP Fairs 2023 will be held from 18th to 20th August 2023.
Another highlight of the event was the MOU between Director-General of the Department of Intellectual Property and PTT Public Company Limited for intellectual property and innovation to support the establishment of effective management systems on innovation.
