High-level Discussion with Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Energy, Mr Suthep Liumsirijarern

Introducing the newly established Energy and Energy Efficiency Working Group, on 06 November 2013, EABC delegation led by the working group chair, Dr Nigel Gould-Davies, paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Energy, Mr Suthep Liumsirijarern at the Energy Complex Building.

The purpose of this meeting was to introduce EABC as a dialogue partner representing the united voice of European business on commercial and policy matters with the Royal Thai Government. The discussion priority was to enhance future cooperation toward developing of Thailand’s energy, alternative energy and energy efficiency policy. The highlight was also on how European investment, technology and expertise could support the government. With positive engagement from the Ministry of Energy, EABC was welcomed to extent contribution toward supportive solutions to Thailand’s energy supply challenge and the future cooperation.
