With the government’s substantial effort to bolster Thailand’s investment climate and stimulate the economy, investments in transportation infrastructure and development is vital to enhance the country’s competitiveness and attract foreign direct investment.

A key element of Thailand 4.0 is integrating with ASEAN and connecting Thailand to the Global Community. The key strategies to position Thailand as a trading nation and one of Asia’s business centers consists of Developing the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) which covers three eastern provinces; Chachoengsao, Chonburi and Rayong that will connect with ASEAN-China-India through world-class infrastructure, including roads, ports, airports, high-speed trains, and freight.
