The Mission of Thailand to the EU, in co-operation with the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society, is holding a seminar on 6 June 2019 on E-Commerce and GDPR, at Anantara Siam Hotel Bangkok.

The objective of the seminar is to better understand e-commerce, particularly the EU Digital Single Market Strategy as well as how the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to Thai businesses.

The seminar will be opened by Their Excellencies Ambassador Tapiola (EU Ambassador to Thailand), Ambassador Manasvi Srisodapol (Thailand Ambassador to EU) and Dr Pichet Durongkaveroj (Minister for Digital Economy & Society). The seminar includes speakers from the World Customs Organization, the European Commission (DG JUST), the Research Centre for Information Law and Society of the University of Namur and EABC
