EABC Luncheon Policy Session 2026: Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme; Policy Direction, and Way Forward for Sustainable Financing and Patient Access

EABC Luncheon Policy Session 2026 Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme: Policy Direction and the Way Forward for Sustainable Financing and Patient Access
The European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), through its Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Working Group, is pleased to invite you to the EABC Luncheon Policy Session 2026 on Wednesday, 19 August 2026, from 11:30 to 14:00 at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.
As Thailand’s population continues to age and the burden of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) grows, ensuring sustainable healthcare financing has become an increasingly important policy priority. The long-term sustainability of the Civil Servant Medical Benefit Scheme (CSMBS), while maintaining equitable patient access to quality healthcare, remains a key challenge requiring collaborative solutions.
This policy dialogue will bring together policymakers, healthcare experts, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to exchange perspectives on the future of healthcare financing in Thailand.
The session will feature Ms. Wilawan Payanoi, Advisor of Fiscal and Financial System Development, Comptroller General’s Department, who will share the government’s policy direction for the CSMBS and discuss the challenges and opportunities in advancing sustainable healthcare financing. Participants will also explore how stronger public-private collaboration can support a more resilient, efficient, and patient-centred healthcare system, while helping to strengthen long-term healthcare sustainability and improve patient access.
Join us for this timely discussion as we exchange ideas and explore practical pathways towards a sustainable and inclusive healthcare system for Thailand.
