Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive: Compliance Strategies & Key Implications

September 17, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

The Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD), approved earlier this year, mandates companies of more than 1,000 employees with a turnover of more than EUR450 million to conduct due diligence across their entire supply chains to mitigate adverse impacts of their activities on human rights and environmental protection.

To better understand the key implications and strategies for effective compliance with this initiative, we invite you to a special one-hour, online event focusing on the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).
Dan Dionisie and Zsofia Kerecsen from the European Commission’s DG JUST will provide an online overview of the CSDDD.
Antony Crockett, a partner at Herbert Smith Freehills, will give a presentation on what companies will need to do to comply with the requirements of the CSDDD.
