Strengthening IP Enforcement in Thailand 2026: Advancing Integrated Measures to Combat Illicit Trade and Enhance Public Sector Transparency Through Public-Private and ASEAN Cooperation

Counterfeit goods, cross-border IP infringement and enforcement challenges continue to create practical difficulties for businesses operating in Thailand. SMEs can be particularly affected, with limited financial and technical resources to pursue enforcement across multiple channels.
European Association for Business and Commerce (EABC), in cooperation with the South-East Asia IP SME Helpdesk, invites policymakers, enforcement authorities, anti-corruption agencies, international experts, and private-sector representatives to exchange experience on illicit trade trends, discuss enforcement and policy challenges, and identify practical steps toward stronger inter-agency coordination and a more predictable business environment — drawing on experience from Thailand and across ASEAN.
