The EABC participated at the 4th edition of the ASEAN-EU Business Summit held on the 23rd of August 2015, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, held during the sidelines of the 47th ASEAN Economic Ministers Meeting. The event was organized by the EU-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EUMCCI) and the EU-ASEAN Business Council (EUABC) with support from the ICI+ projects in ASEAN, including the EABC.

Representing the EABC were Mr Rolf Dieter Daniel – President of the EABC as well as Mr Michael Grewe – Chairperson of the EABC Automotive WG and Mr Bob Fox – Vice Chairperson of the EABC ICT WG, both of whom participated as speakers in panel discussions pertaining to their respective industries.

The event essentially served as a platform for business leaders in the region to highlight, share and discuss key issues relating to the state of the economyin ASEAN, ASEAN integration, global business trends, etc, culminating in a final overview of key elements affecting the major business sectors in the region that was presented to the ASEAN Ministers who also graced the event.
