EABC - Thailand-Ireland Forum: Advancing Technology & Digital Partnership

On 23 September 2025, EABC representatives, led by President, Mrs. Paranee Adulyapichet, and Policy Manager, Ms. Pitchapha Suwanalert, attended the Thailand–Ireland Forum: “Advancing Technology & Digital Partnership” commemorating the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Thailand and Ireland. The event was organized by the Embassy of Ireland in Thailand, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand.

The forum celebrated five decades of partnership and featured keynote sessions and panel discussions on future opportunities for enhanced cooperation between the two countries. The speakers emphasised that Thailand and Ireland can further educational and expert-level collaboration on the transition to a digital economy, particularly through developing digital skills to attract high-value investment. The exchange also underscored Ireland’s role as a partner of opportunity, highlighting that stronger economic and business ties with Ireland can help Thailand broaden its relations with Europe, deepen EU engagement, and strengthen its positioning as a gateway to ASEAN for Ireland and the wider region.
