EABC IPR Working Group Meeting 5/2021 on 27 August

On 27th August 2021, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Working Group held its fifth working group meeting for 2021. The meeting also included a special one hour session from Digital Economy/ICT working group on digital issues with an IPR relevance.

The Digital session was conducted by Digital Economy/ICT Working Group Chair Mr Bob Fox and included Digital group members focusing on some IPR-related issues including software development/licensing, Software piracy, malware, on-line responsibility, trade secrets.

Mr. Jostein Aksnes from 7 Peaks Software, Mr. Tony Hoglund from Amadeus, Mr. Eric Helander from Runtime Asia and Mr. Sune Sucksdorff from Net Protection Concepts International provided real insights.

The meeting’s regular business covered a number of up-coming events, including an EU IP Key seminar on 9-10th September about IPR in a customs context.
