EABC - Illicit Trade Sub-Task Force Meeting #5 2025

On 17 November 2025, EABC held the fifth meeting of the Illicit Trade Sub-Task Force of the year in an online format.

As a Sub-Task Force under the Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Working Group led by Ms. Pavinee Bunyamissara, this Task Force was established to ensure focused discussion and advocacy on the issue of illicit trade in Thailand.

The participants advanced the Sub-Task Force’s position paper on illicit trade across the Agriculture, Pharmaceuticals, Beverages, Tobacco, and Cosmetics industries, progressed stakeholder engagement planning—particularly with the Department of Intellectual Property (DIP)—and reiterated the need for coordinated strategies to strengthen collective action against illicit trade.
