
EABC – Europe Day 2026 ‘Celebrating Europe: Partner for the Future’
On 21 May 2026, EABC representatives attended the Europe Day reception ‘Celebrating Europe: Partner for the Future’ organised by the Delegation of the European Union to Thailand at Siam Kempinski Hotel.
In her opening remarks, H.E. Mrs. Luisa Ragher, Ambassador of the European Union to Thailand, highlighted the strong and enduring relationship between Thailand and EU Member States. She also emphasised the growing momentum in bilateral relations under the EU–Thailand Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, reflecting a shared commitment to deepen collaboration across key areas, including trade and investment, sustainable development, innovation, and the green transition.
H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, also reaffirmed the positive and constructive ties between Thailand and the European Union. He emphasised the importance of the ongoing EU–Thailand FTA negotiations, which aim to deliver an ambitious, modern, and balanced framework for future economic cooperation, with sustainability at its core.
The reception reflected the continued commitment of both Thailand and the European Union to strengthening partnership, fostering dialogue, and advancing shared priorities for sustainable growth and long-term cooperation.
