DAH Thailand Launch Workshop
On 30th August, our EABC delegates attended the DAH Thailand Launch Workshop, convened by the Digital Asia Hub (DAH) in collaboration with ETDA Thailand and the Global Network of Internet & Society Centers represented by the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, brought together multiple stakeholder perspectives to discuss the wide-reaching implications of emerging technologies with the Asia-Pacific region, with a specific focus on used cases of government AI adoption and an analysis of AI governance challenges ahead from a comparative perspective.
The Digital Asia Hub Thailand is a new independent, non-profit “Think and Do-Tank” based in Bangkok focused on addressing issues pertaining to digital technologies, the economy, and society in Thailand and southeast Asia. The intention of the Hub is to provide a collaborative and open multi-stakeholder platform for capacity building, knowledge sharing, and research, providing a new node in growing regional and international network of Internet & Society Centers.
