CHANGES IN EABC

Mr. Stefan Molnar has resigned from the Board and as EABC President with effect from 13 September. During his 16 month tenure as president, he showed a passionate commitment to EABC and effected a number of positive changes to EABCs operation. The EABC Board has thanked him for his service and this considerable investment of his time, and wishes him the very best in his continuing endeavours.

Mr. Jan Eriksson, who has been a Vice President of EABC since EABC started, was elected by the Board as President, on an interim basis through to the AGM in 2020. Mr. Eriksson is well-known in foreign business circles as a prior President (and current Vice President) of the Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, prior director of the Board of Trade and other roles.

Mr. Karri Kivela will complete his period as Executive Director of EABC effective September 30th, 2019. Mr. Kivela is returning to Finland after seven years in Thailand and to continue his career there and to be closer to his family. EABC wants to thank Karri for the time in EABC and wishes him all the best in his further endeavours.

Other existing EABC staffs continue in their roles.

EABC has embarked on a search for a new Executive Director and is considering other roles. The main activity source of EABC are the Working Groups, which continue to be active and to develop further.
