Call for Proposal – EABC Mid-Term Review

The European ASEAN Business Centre (EABC) is an EU initiative that is financed as a Preparatory Action (PP-AP/2010/255-307) in Thailand to improving the European trade and investment environment in Thailand and to further diversify and increase European exports and investment to Thailand and the ASEAN regional market. The EABC is established its legal platform in Thailand as a Trade Association commencing its operation in 2011 representing interests of the European business community in Thailand. The EABC is currently seeking qualified candidates for:

Mid-term EvaluationExpert of theEABCProgramme
To carry out the mid-term evaluation of the EABC programme including, but not limited to, the following:

  1. To assess the achievements and short-comings of the programme to date, with respect to the twin mandate to support greater EU market access in Thailand, including by injecting content into Thailand-EU policy dialogues, and outreach to European companies, especially SMEs, in Europe.
  2. To assess the value-added and complementarity of EABC services, which include market access advocacy, among local stakeholders, incl. European business, European business support organisations in Thailand (bilateral chambers of commerce) and EU Member States Missions in Thailand. This should be done in the context of EU Business market strategy in Thailand
  3. To assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and results of project implementation and implementing consortium.
  4. To make concrete recommendations that should feed into the on-going project implementation to ensure successful achievement of EABC’s expected results. Recommendations should distinguish between strategic and operational levels.
